Starting in Nairobi and ending on the shores of the delightful Indian Ocean, this comprehensive safari will visit four extremely diverse wilderness areas. From the lakes of the Great Rift Valley and open plains of the Mara to the undulating hills of Tsavo, this safari and beach holiday will offer a great family adventure.

Day 1. Arrival in Nairobi

You will arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi where our representative will meet, greet and transfer you to a Nairobi hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2. Full day in Nairobi

On the second day, you will have a tour of Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, this is a guided tour on how elephant calves are rescued, raised and rehabilitated back to the wild. Guests will have opportunity to watch and photograph these calves being fed and learn more about the efforts to conserve and protect elephants and wildlife at large. You will have lunch then proceed to Giraffe centre which was founded in a bid to save the endangered Rothschild Giraffe, which had lost its natural habitat. The centre provides an opportunity to come close to giraffes and even feed them from your hands. There is a beautiful nature trail inside the sanctuary that is ideal for relaxation and bird watching. From here, have a guided tour at Karen Blixen museum in the afternoon. Other optional activities include a shopping at Utamanduni Craft shop and Kazuri beads factory shop in Karen area or return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park

You will depart after breakfast and drive passing through the eastern wall of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch at the lodge overlooking the spectacular flamingo pink rimmed Lake before embarking on an evening game drive in search of the lesser and greater flamingoes including rhinos, Rothschild giraffe, huge herds of waterbuck, zebra, buffalo among others. Have dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 4/6: Maasai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, depart heading south west to Masai Mara national Reserve arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon will be spent at leisure before embarking on our first game drive across this beautiful dotted plains of the Mara in search of game that includes big cats, Topi, hartebeest, Oribi, Grant’s and Thomson gazelle, buffalo waterbuck , vervet monkey, olive baboon as well as many other species of reptiles and amphibians.

Accommodation will be at a lodge/camp where you will spend the next three days. Game drives are flexible with other optional activities like hot Air balloon and visit to Masai village.

Day 7: Nairobi

Today, you will have breakfast then start your journey back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon at your hotel for relaxation. Have dinner and overnight stay at a Nairobi Hotel and preparation for your southern circuit safari.

Day 8: Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, depart by road to Amboseli National Park which is popular for it’s abundance of the elephant including other animal species. Arrive at a Lodge which overlooks the Africa’s highest and most majestic mountain, Kilimanjaro in time for lunch. Enjoy afternoon game drive with a backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro. Have dinner and overnight stay at a safari Lodge on full board basis.

Day 9: Amboseli National Park

Spend this day at Amboseli viewing game. You will have an opportunity to climb the observation hill to the vantage point where you will experience a wonderful view of the entire Amboseli plains overlooking Mt. Kilimanjaro. The Amboseli Plains inhabits large herds of elephants and other wild animals like Giraffes, Lions and Spotted Hyenas with fantastic bird life species. Have dinner and overnight stay at a safari lodge.

Day 10/11: Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast, you will depart and proceed further South into Tsavo West National Park Famous for the Mzima Springs, with its unique underwater hippo and other water species observation, the Shetani lava flows and Chaimu volcanic crater including large herds of elephants among other wildlife. Birdlife is spectacular. The park is home to the 'Big five' and hosts various physical features such as Mudanda Rock, Nyika plateau and Lugard's falls cascading along the Galana River. On the second day you will have a full day with game morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight stay will be at a safari lodge/camp.

Day 12/13: Tsavo East National Park

Depart early morning with picnic breakfast. Take a game drive en-route to Tsavo East National Park arriving in time for lunch at a safari lodge and spend two full days with game drives in the vast Nyika Plateau plains in search for more game as well as scenic photography sites. Have dinner and overnight stay at a Safari Lodge.

Day 14: Mombasa

You will depart after breakfast and head to the coastal town of Mombasa for a beach holiday. Stay at a beach hotel. On arrival you can walk straight onto the beach in front of the hotel and soak up the sun, breeze and waves and acclimatize. Have dinner and overnight stay at a Beach hotel on half board basis.

Two days with activities.

Spend two days at this beach hotel fringed by white beaches, and shaded by coconut palms, the silver ribbon of the Swahili coastline which offers the ultimate tropical paradise. Activities here include the Swimming pool, Tennis Courts, Maisha Spa and Gym, Air-conditioned Squash Courts, Water sports centre, Traditional Archery, Beach Volleyball and Aqua Aerobics. Other activities include a visit to Marine National Park, the Fort Jesus historical site and old Mombasa town.

Day 17: Nairobi

After breakfast, you will be transfer to Moi International Airport for morning flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be transferred to a city restaurant for lunch. Afternoon at leisure followed by a farewell dinner at the Africa’s best eating place, the Carnivore restaurant. Overnight at a Nairobi hotel.

Day 18: Departure

After an early morning breakfast, transfer to the airport for your morning homebound flight.
