Ecotourism & Cultural Safari
Trip Adventure Details
Overview
Ecotourism is the future of the global travel industry. This is a genre of tourism that combines benefit of travel to the local people, communities, environment & conservation and generally promotes direct social interaction of cultures.
This suggested and intuitive itinerary departs from the monotony of most cultural safaris advertised by operators by taking you into unique destinations, that we guaranteed will feed your ecotourism heart with the generosity of the African people
Immerse yourself in the Kikuyu culture in Central Kenya and the venture further north to place where Samburu women are doing wonders in a biodiversity conservation group. Learn more about the Samburu people and enjoy fun adventure activities for a 2 night stay.
The journey then winds on road to land of the Nandi people in Kapsabet after a 1 night stopover at Lake Nakuru National Park. The Kalenjin, of which the Nandi are part, have a rich culture and they occupy the greater part of the Rift Valley - home to the fastest long distance marathon runners in the world
From Kapsabet to Masai Mara where we immerse in Maasai Culture. A direct flight is available (or one with a brief stop at Wilson Airport) to Lamu. The oldest swahili town in Eastern Africa for a taste of the coastal.

Oloisukut is north of the Mara Triangle and affords a great wildlife viewing experience in unspoilt wilderness, and an opportunity to meet the team who pioneer conservation efforts in this conservancy.
