This is an exclusive 4x4 private tour in a safari landcruiser (jeep). Our passion for 4x4 travel is enshrined as a commitment to travel comfort on safari to our guests.
The wide and open spaces of the Great Rift Valley where the Masai Mara National Reserve is situated guarantees the most breathtaking sights, sounds and smells. This is the kingdom where lion is king, home to the legendary Maasai People and the cradle of one of the world's greatest geological wonders.
The way enroute from Nairobi offers picturesque views of awesome escarpments, gorges, lakes and volcanic mountains. The unique flora cannot be ignored; the appearing savannah bushes and woodlands with the trademark acacia tree ( a true symbol of Africa).
A 2 nights option for a Masai Mara Exclusive Safari an the affordable option for those on short holiday leash. It offers adequate time to traverse the Mara and experience the best game reserve in Africa (World Travel Awards - 2016). Masai Mara was home to Jonathat Scott's BBC Wild Cat Diaries debutting in 1996 and winding in 2008.
Itinerary
Our Mara Exclusive Safari is a safari that takes you to Masai Mara for 3, 4, 5 days and associated nights and will normally start with an airport pickup and transfer to your Nairobi hotel on bed and breakfast basis, although it is equally okay to travel directly to Masai Mara from the airport if arriving by an early flight and if you do not mind a 5-6 hr road transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve.
Day 01: Nairobi - Masai Mara
Depart from Nairobi hotel at 7.30am and head to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley floor. Witnessing amazing natural scenery as you drive by. Arrive Masai Mara in time for a ready lunch. Relax at leisure in readiness for a PM game drive before dinner and overnight.
Day 02: Masai Mara - Full Day Game Drives
Unless a different choice is discussed, we venture into the park in search of the big 5 with picnic lunches. Spend the entire day exploring the wonders of this park - the animals, the birds, the scenery and the diverse flora unique to Africa. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight
Day 03: Masai Mara - Nairobi
Enjoy an optional pre-breakfast game drive. Return to Nairobi after checking out, arriving early afternoon.
Masai Mara Safari ends in Nairobi for optional lunch at the Carnivore or with a drop off at the airport at the time of your choosing
Itinerary Variation for 3 Nights
Day 3: Full Day & Eco Tour
Today is a good day to visit a Maasai Cultural Village in the course of our full day game drive in the park. Return at dusk satisfied with a day well spent for dinner and overnight at your appointed & choice accommodation
Price Guide
Prices for a holiday are determined by:-
- Cost of accommodation facility desired
- Type of vehicle to use of safari (a safari minivan or a 4x4 jeep/cruiser)
- Travel season i.e. mid (Jan-Mar, June, Nov-Dec 15), low (April & May) or peak season (July to October)
- Festive season (Easter holidays and Dec 16 to January 3)
- No of persons in a travel party. Some costs are shared. Single travellers pay a single supplement way close to the price of two
- Room sharing options. Triples where applicable are cheaper.
