Most of our bespoke itineraries for opulent safari holidays are fly-in safaris. We do NOT have a safari category theme for sky-safaris because this is where they are found. Hitting the road is only in park exploration and less holiday time is wasted shifting gears. You therefore get the maximum in freshness to enjoy the property you pay for, wildlife sigtings and the local ecosystem. We like to curate our luxury safari design with pieces from one destination to another or as holiday time dictates, maximum enjoyment in only one.

Hot Air Balloon Safari
An addition to a luxury endeavor is a hot air balloon safari over Mara. Starting out early at 5.00am in the morning and going to skies over the Mara River and the plains, witness the majestic sunrise and the landscapes littered with wild animals (thousands and thousands of wildebeests, impalas and zebras during the migration season of July to October) and descend to a champagne breakfast in the middle of nowhere before a game drive enroute back to your stay.

Helicopter Safaris - The Safari Collection (Giraffe Manor to Solio Lodge, Laikipia to The Desert Rose in Suguta Valley, to Sasaab, Samburu and back to Nairobi)
This fully guided adventure is truly one of a kind, it combines wildlife, mountains, lakes, ancient forests, ancient people all in one of the world’s last real wildernesses.
If you like jaw-dropping views, this itinerary will more than satisfy. It starts on location at The Giraffe Manor to your private helicopter, which flies to Solio lodge near the Aberdare highlands, soaring above the ice-capped snowy peaks of Mount Kenya. At Solio Lodge you will see an abundance of game from black and white rhino, to lions and herds of buffalo.
You can enjoy a massage in your room by the re or go horse riding across the plains. From the exclusive Solio Lodge you and the helicopter will travel to the luxurious Desert Rose lodge where you’ll witness the astonishing rock formations of the Suguta Valley and descend to two remarkable lakes, Turkana and Logipi, to see vast rocks of pink flamingo. After a night at Desert Rose your route to the luxury tented camp of Sasaab, Samburu will take you over the Ndoto Mountains and the Mathews Range of northern Kenya.
Once in the Samburu National Reserve you can enjoy a late afternoon short scenic ight to spot rare Grevy’s zebra from above, landing on the sacred Samburu mountain, Ol Donyo Sabachi (Ol Lolokwe), which towers 1,000m above the surrounding plains. You can complete the magical trip with an early evening walk to Sundowner Rock for panoramic 360° views of the Mathews Range, a magical experience with a fantastic finish.

Prices for a holiday are determined by:-
- Cost of accommodation facility desired
- Flight either in light aircraft or helicopter
- Travel season i.e. mid (Jan-Mar, June, Nov-Dec 15), low (April & May) or peak season (July to October)
- Festive season (Easter holidays and Dec 16 to January 3)
- No of persons in a travel party. Some costs are shared. Single travellers pay a single supplement way close to the price of two
- Room sharing options. Single travellers pay more
